Admission Process

ETU spring term enrolment process usually starts at September and ends at December. Fall term enrolment process usually starts at December and ends at April or May the following year. For each year, the cycle may vary according to the practical situation. We will publish the information on our official website and WeChat account once we start to receive the application, please stay tuned.

The Application Form is the first step in our application process. We ask that you submit it as early in the process as possible. Our application fee is 1000 RMB per student. The application fee will be included as part of the tuition once the student gets accepted. For the student who is not accepted, the fee is non-refundable. We will contact you for further step once we receive your application form and application fee.

One week after we have received your application fee and completed application form, we will contact you to schedule the student and parent meeting via email. The interview will lasts around 45minutes to 1hour.

We will notify you the result via email within one week.

FAQ

  • 1. Does ETU student have Chinese student ID(Xue Ji)?

    All the students who reach the appropriate age level are able to apply for Student ID (Xue Ji).

  • 2. Do you accept foreign students or students from Hong,Macau or Taiwan?

    Yes.

  • 3.What grade level do Guagnzhou Campus offer?

    We currently offer Grade 1 – 3.

  • 4.Do you accept applications midway through the school year?

    If vacancy allows, ETU accepts new students for the new term. We do not accept students during the semester.

  • 5. What are the class sizes in Guangzhou Campus?

    No more than 20 students per class.

  • 6. What is the Chinese/English percentage in the teaching practices?

    For lower grades, the percentage of language use (Chinese to English) is 6:4. For higher grades, we will increase the use of English in teaching.

  • 7.What is ETU GZ’s tuition fee?

    Tuition for the current school year is 120,000RMB, not including extra fee for school uniform. Tuition for the next school year will be determined shortly. Please contact the admission office for details. Full tuition for the whole year should be paid in order to be enrolled. If you have more than 2 children at ETU at the same time, the school will offer sibling’s discount for the younger child (children).

  • 8. Does ETU GZ provide school bus service?

    Yes, we provide school bus （school bus of Huamei International School ) service only on Friday afternoon and Sunday evening.

  • 9. What is the school hour and does ETU offer boarding program?

    Yes, we do offer boarding program. School hour is Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:20, Friday 8:00-16:00.
